History:

Five artists are celebrating the 50th anniversary of Grafik Avisen by producing a limited series of 100 fine art folders, each containing six original linoleum prints.

The featured artists are Tine Hind, Hans Krull, Frank Brahe, Thomas Kruse, Per Brahe, and Finn Knudsen. Their works were printed using a historic press at Godsbanen, staying true to the original spirit of making art widely accessible. As in the project’s early days, the full set of six prints is available for just 500 kroner.

Hans Vilandt Olldau Krull is a Danish visual artist born in 1952 in Svendborg, Denmark. He honed his craft at the prestigious Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, Poland, graduating in 1977. Today, Krull is an iconic cultural figure in Aarhus, celebrated both for his public artworks—most famously the beloved "Mågekysset" (The Seagull Kiss) sculpture—and for his dynamic role in the city's social scene as the founder and creative force behind the renowned tavern Under Masken.
