A Pristine Example of Bitossi’s Rimini Blue

The Liberty vase is one of Aldo Londi’s most elegant forms — a tall, slender silhouette fully enveloped in the iconic Rimini Blue glaze that made Bitossi of Tuscany world-famous in the 1960s. This example is in perfect, production-fresh condition: the glaze is completely intact, vivid, and unmarked.

Londi’s Liberty series drew on Art Nouveau fluidity and translated it into the bold, tactile language of mid-century Italian ceramics. The result is a vase that feels both timeless and unmistakably of its era.
