Antique Stained Glass Suncatcher — Hunting Dog Transfer, Blue & Yellow Lead Glass, Denmark / UK

A characterful antique stained glass suncatcher featuring a hunting dog rendered via a detailed transfer on blue and yellow leaded glass. Square in format, with a traditional lead frame — a robust and distinctly Northern European piece, likely Danish or British in origin.

The hunting dog motif places this firmly within a long tradition of decorative country-house and sporting imagery, here translated into the folk-craft medium of leaded glass. The result is something unpretentious and quietly handsome — the kind of object that has lived a life and carries it well. The chain shows some rust consistent with age, which only adds to the patina.
