A refined mid-century gift set pairing ROSTI Mepal Danish melamine with a Sovirel France milk glass casserole dish — a French counterpart to the better-known Pyrex, and equally collectible for devotees of 1970s kitchenware. A distinctive alternative to the JAJ Pyrex sets, and a lovely cross-border pairing of Scandinavian and French design traditions.
Sovirel produced high-quality opaline and milk glass ovenware in France throughout the 1960s and 70s, and their pieces are increasingly sought after by collectors across Europe. Combined with ROSTI’s warm, functional melamine forms, this set has both daily usability and real display appeal.
